Caleb James Arrives

Caleb decided to come on out and join us Wednesday morning, September 10th.  He must be an early riser, like his dad, because his grand entrance was at 4:20am.  He weighs 8lbs 7oz.  Mom, Dad and Caleb are all doing fine and looking forward to going home later today.  More pictures can be found on Melinda's facebook page.  Enjoy...from Aunty Rose

Yes, we're still pregnant...

41 weeks, one day pregnant...

This morning I had a non-stress test. It would appear the little guy is uncooperative - it took 45 minutes to get him to move around enough for the test...it typically takes 10-20 minutes! The midwife says maybe that means he likes to sleep and will sleep through the night for us. Here's hoping...

I am one centimeter dilated, at least - one is better than none!

Still pregnant...

Hello there!
Just wanted to post an update to let people know we are still pregnant. We are trying to be patient - a friend says baby must be waiting for our favorite midwife to be on duty before he comes. I am walking, stretching, went to the chiropractor and acupuncturist, drank lots of pregnancy tea, took evening primrose oil, have done lots of positive visualization...tomorrow night we may just have to resort to the spicy food! He'll come when he's ready...perhaps he thinks we're not ready for him yet!
